BA Program in
Management and Organizational Change

Introduction

Management and Organizational Change is a multidisciplinary major, combining the study of Management and Organizational Development Theories with practical applications of inclusive leadership and social responsibility. This Program educates women to assume leadership positions in a changing and diverse world. Through the use of service learning projects and Boston-area internships in profit and non-profit organizations the major allows students to explore specific interests while gaining work experience.

Majors develop the core skills needed for effective work in business environments, non-profit organizations and other enterprises:

Program Learning Outcomes:

1. Students will be able to read, understand and discuss management challenges.

2. Students will be able to identify a business problem/challenge and provide appropriate interventions/solutions using data analysis, research, group process, and project management skills.

3. Students will be able work effectively on a business challenge as a member of a team and present their solution in a collaborative manner.

4. Students will be able to demonstrate their ability to network and utilize business connections

5. Students will able to use the Microsoft Office Suite to effectively communicate within an organization.
