STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES
The Pine Manor College
Health Program emphasizes health promotion, education and prevention. We
view students as individuals and in the context of the college experience.
We understand that health encompasses physical, emotional and spiritual needs
and take a holistic approach to healthcare.
We encourage you to
utilize Health Services for your health needs, much as you use your primary care
provider at home. We encourage you to ask questions and to discuss any
concerns you might have. When there is a need for further evaluation or
medical care beyond the services we normally provide, we can facilitate the
process of obtaining appropriate referral to a select network of providers and
hospitals in the greater Boston medical community.
Our Mission
Pine Manor College Health
Service supports the educational mission of the College by providing
prevention-focused, accessible and high quality health care for a diverse
student population. We strive to maintain the physical, psychological, spiritual
and social health of students through a collaborative team approach of providing
primary care, counseling, health education, and assisting students in adopting
health enhancing behaviors. Services provided are based on data about the health
needs and risk behaviors of the population. We strive to create and maintain
collaborative relationships with the larger academic community of faculty and
student life staff, with an emphasis on assisting in the student’s academic
success and creating a healthy and safe campus community.
