Michelle teaches in an interdisciplinary department, Social and Political Systems. The main goals of the program are to have students:

· Gain substantive knowledge about society and politics.

· Develop a personal capacity to be an agent of social action and social change

· Learn to design and undertake social science research.

· Write effectively in the language of social science.
