Course Description: CO/EN351 will
simulate the experience of working in an advertising agency setting. Students will work in teams to create
advertising and public relations campaigns for non-profit clients. Each team will work on two campaigns during
the semester, one smaller campaign and one that is more extensive. Student teams will be responsible for all
phases of the advertising process, from written proposal to creation of the
final advertising product. The course
will help students experience the interdisciplinary nature of advertising as
they work together in teams designed to replicate the roles found in a real
world setting.
