2007-08 Softball Coaches

Head Coach

Erin Van Nostrand  -Erin begins her fourth season at Pine Manor this spring, after compiling a 26-15 record last season, the highest win total since the 2001-2002 season.  In her first full year at Pine Manor she led the Gators to a 24-21 overall record and a return trip to the GNAC semifinal.  PMC fell in the semi's to eventual champion WNEC 3-2 in extra innings. Arriving at PMC in December of 2004 she guided the Gators to a 21-20 overall record and an 18-6 conference record, in her first season as a college coach.  Erin’s first collegiate coaching win came on April 11, 2005 against Simmons College. Van Nostrand has coached six All Conference players, and three NFCA All Region Selections. 

 Prior to her arrival at Pine Manor, Van Nostrand was a High School Physical Education teacher and Varsity Softball Coach at Freeport High School, NY.  Her career record at Freeport was 54-32(56.2 winning percentage).  Her record includes inheriting a winless team before her arrival and in two years Freeport softball won the conference championship.  Van Nostrand attended Keene State College, NH were she earned at BS in Physical Education.  While at KSC she played softball and basketball.  She was a three year starter at shortstop for the Owls and was a two time All Conference player.  Her career includes an appearance in the NCAA regional finals as a member of the KSC record setting 1999 softball team.
