Fort Myers, FL- The Pine Manor College Softball team opened the 2007 season with a successful trip to Florida.  The Gators went 5-5 playing against some very talented competition.  A very young Pine Manor gained valuable experience, in preparation for a difficult northern schedule. 

Newcomers Patty Pabon, Courtney Wallace and Krissy Travers led the way offensively for the Gators.  Pabon hit .440 for the week with 11 runs scored and four triples.  Wallace led the way with 13 RBI's and hit .518.  Travers led the team in hitting carrying a .533 average.
