Basketball wins first game of new year

Brooklyn, NY- The Gators kicked off the new year with a trip to New York and a victory of Brooklyn College 68-57. 

Senior Laura Cecil (Solon, OH) had her best game of the season racking up a triple double.  She recorded 17 points, 11 assists and 14 rebounds.  Sophomore Amanda Dennis (Haverhill, MA) once again lead the way in the scoring column, collecting 21 points and chipping in 11 rebounds.

With the win Pine Manor improves to 2-6 while Brooklyn College falls to 5-8.   The Gators return to home action on Thursday when they host Anna Maria College, tip off is schedule for 7 PM
