Boston, Mass.- Lindsay DeStefano (Jr., Chepachet, R.I.) scored 14 points and Lauren Vassallo (So., Oxford, Conn.) added 11 to give Emerson College (3-2) a decisive 60-43 victory over Pine Manor College (1-6) in a non-conference contest.  DeStefano and Vassallo led a balanced attack that saw 13 different players score for the Lions.

Emerson opened up a 30-8 half-time lead, breaking the game open with a 9-0 run. DeStefano started the run with a 3-poiont shot, followed by two Vassallo layups.  Ellie Feitlinger (Jr., Madison, WI, left) ended the run with her only basket of the day.  Feitlinger had a big statistical day in other categories pulling in 10 rebounds, and adding four assists and three steals.

Pine Manor was led by Laura Cecil (Jr., Solon, Ohio) with 14 points and 15 rebounds.  Angelica Comacho (Sr., Orlando, Fla.) added 11 points for the Gators.

The Gators return to action on Tuesday December 4th when they host MCLA, tip off is 6:00 PM
