Hartford, CT - The Blue Jays of St. Joseph's College shot 46% from the field as they defeated Pine Manor 63-44 in a GNAC women's basketball game. 

A young Gator team struggled to score in the first half, managing only 15 points.  Junior Laura Cecil and sophomore Amanda Dennis were the only two players to score in double digits for Pine Manor, each collecting 10 points. 

St Joe's Keri Hallberg led all scorers with 21 points.  Araya Koonce was the only other player in double digits for the Blue Jays.

With the win St. Joe's improves to 4-13 overall, while the Gators fall to 2-14 overall, 0-4 in the GNAC.  Pine Manor returns to home action this Tuesday when they take on Johnson and Wales University.  Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
