CANDACE YOUNG’S BIG NIGHT LIFTS ALBERTUS OVER PINE MANOR

2/7/07New Haven, CT - On late Thursday night, the Lady Falcons defeated a pesky Pine Manor team 71-66 behind a dominant individual performance from Senior center Candace Young. Young had a game high 32 points and a game high 14 rebounds to go along with 3 blocks and 2 steals on the night. Pine Manor was down just 53-52 with a minute to go but a 10-4 run at the end of the game sealed it for the Lady Falcons. Pine Manor was led by Laura Cecil who had 15 points. Pine Manor drops to 5-17 while Albertus improves to 3-16.
