PMC falls to Newbury in volleyball

Brookline, MA-The Pine Manor Volleyball team started off the season on a tough note last night.  A very young PMC team worked hard but was overmatched by Newbury.  The Gators were defeated: 30-16, 30-12, and 30-9.  The victory spoiled Kelly Scafariello’s debut in her tenure as Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Pine Manor College.  Pine Manor was led by freshman Amanda Dennis (Haverhill, MA/Whittier Tech) with three solo blocks.
