2007-08 Volleyball Coaches

Head Coach

Kelly Scafariello  - In her third season with the Gators Scafariello looks to lead the volleyball team deeper into the GNAC volleyball playoffs.  In 2006 Kelly lead the Pine Manor Volleyball back to the playoffs.  She guided the team to the best record in the last six years, and helped Ally Austin to be named All GNAC.  In her first season with the Gators she led a team comprised entirely of freshman to a four win season.  In the previous two season the team had not won more than one game.  Prior to her arrival at PMC Scafariello was the Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance at the University of Central Florida in Orlando Florida, from 2004-2005.  In 2003-2004 Kelly was the Athletic Administration Intern at Brown University, Providence RI.  Kelly has an extensive coaching background in the New England area.  In 2002-2003 Scafariello spent one year as the Assistant Coach at Salve Regina, Newport RI.  She spent two years as the Head Coach for the Ocean State Spikers, RI.  From 2000-2003 Kelly was the Assistant Coach at Tolman High School, Pawtucket, RI.  Scafariello has worked at the Bentley Volleyball Camp and various other Volleyball Camps around New England.  As a player, Kelly was a four year player at Roger Williams University, RI.  She served as a captain both her junior and senior year, and helped lead RWU to their first ever Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship in her senior year.  Kelly is still an active Volleyball player and participates in Rhode Island indoor leagues and beach tournaments.
