Chestnut Hill, MA-10/31/2006- Pine Manor College's Ally Austin (Hamilton, OH) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference women's volleyball team announced on Monday.  Austin, a freshman, was named to the third team as a setter/outside hitter.  An all-around player, Ally was first on the team in assists (208), second in service aces (55) and third in digs (137).  Austin is the first volleyball player to be named All Conference since 2001.  Ally was instrumental in helping the Gators achieve their second highest win total in program history (13) and earning a post in the GNAC volleyball playoffs.
