Tennis loses to Newbury 5-4
Women's Tennis 09/26/06
Chestnut Hill, MA- 9/26/2006- Neighborhood rival Newbury College traveled to Pine Manor and defeated the Gators 5-4 in a non conference tennis match today. With each team having won four games the match was decided by the result of first doubles. Pine Manor's Andree Burns and Laura Cecil were defeated in a tie breaker. Newbury took four of the first six singles matches with only Burns and Cecil collecting wins. Felicia Lin and Jess Couldrey won their second doubles match in a tie breaker. The Gators take to the courts again when they host Bay Path College on Thursday.
